Does your hard work get recognised?
Over the past few months, we keep hearing thousands of people have lost their jobs. The most recent and close to us was Malindo Air, who had to retrench around 2000 staff, including their flight attendants and captains.
What would they start doing now? To most it's a dreadful experience, but to some, it's a transition from holding onto the yoke in flights to holding a wok in their new "Captain Kitchen Corner".
As the famous saying goes, “If a man chooses a certain way and seems to have no particular possibility for this way, he can still become a master if he so chooses".
Hard work does pay off, if we have the following willingness: 1. Work hard and be willing to fail a few times. 2. Learn, unlearn, relearn new skills, no matter how complex it may be. 3. Be open to new ideas and be willing to take risks. 4. Don't let others spoil your ideas, work and thoughts, stay positive of your own course. 5. Leverage others and network outside of your comfort zones.
